Artist Statement:
In these compositions, all art forms ranging from music to architecture, awareness of history and current trends and my observation of nature have contributed to my artistic vision and working preference. The works are meant to be observed from inside and out. I consider them to be symbolic of real life experience and curiosity that leads to heightened perception. “Question...Answer” (painted), involved many changes of direction all bursting toward a definite direction with many accents as in percussive sounds in music. Formerly I had dealt with a theme which considered the powerful significance of various forms and levels of communication. These works are a progression of that theme which investigates the inquisitive nature of conversation even if no actual questions are asked. I sum up the meaning of my expression in the following sentence. Life is a mystery we are constantly seeking to know.
