Breaking Traditions Art Quilt Exhibit - "home"
June 2010: Way Public Library
Way Library (lower level) 101 E. Indiana Ave., Perrysburg, OH

"Home"at the 2009 American Sewing Expo in Novi, MI
Curated by Michigan artist Lynn Krawczyk, this exhibit features 84 art quilts honoring the qualities and special moments that define what a home means. Through the hard work of the 73 artists involved, money was raised for Bernie Berlin's A Place to Bark, an animal shelter that helps find forever homes for abused and abandoned animals. This traveling exhibit was on display at the 2009 American Sewing Expo in Novi, MI as well as other locations in Michigan.
Visit the Breaking Traditions blog for more information about this exhibit and the upcoming 2010 exhibit that will benefit Autism Speaks.
This free exhibit will run through the end of June and is open to the public during regular library hours (Monday-Thursday: 9am-8:30pm, Friday and Saturday: 9am-5:30pm). The Way Gallery is located on the lower level of the library.
