The Frisch Marionette Company will bring their "Variety Show" marionette program to our series. Families will not only be entertained by the showmanship of the puppetiers they will be shown the mechanics and skill involved in moving the puppet. A fascinating artform that intrigues the audience from beginning to end. The Frisch Marionette production is designed, handcrafted, and created in the Frisch workshops. Each and every puppet is handcarved, every costume is sewn and custom tailored for each character. The company performs in the traditional styles of 19th Century European Puppetry. Drawing inspiration from the great European troupes such as Salzburg Marionette Theatre, they are bringing one of the great old world arts to young, contemporary imaginations.
