
The Perrysburg Area Arts Council provides quality cultural and arts programming for the entire community. Our scheduled list of events include the following:
Summer Music Series
Music at the Market - Thursday evenings in the summer, after the Farmer's Market. Located in Commodore Park (corner of Louisiana and Indiana). Sponsored by the City of Perrysburg.
Concerts on the Lawn - The third Sunday in June, July and August at the 577 Foundation. Sponsored by First Solar.
Star Spangled Banner Concert - July Concert at Fort Meigs, 8:00 inside the walls of the fort on the night of the Perrysburg fireworks.
Visual Arts
Harrison Rally Day - PAAC features "Rally for the Arts" at our annual September fair. We present the fine arts, crafts, youth bands, the main stage entertainment and the children's art activities. This is co-sponsored by the Perrysburg Chamber of Commerce.
Art in Public Places - We exhibit the art of local artists and schools at Way Public Library, Perrysburg Municipal Courthouse, the Perrysburg Municipal Building and particating local businesses.
Fiber Art Show – This fiber art exhibit is held annually at the 577 Foundation with live music throughout the event along with artisan demonstrations. Refreshments are served and the event is free and open to the public.
Art Along the River Sculpture Exhibit– Eleven sculptures were exhibited along Front St. in the Historic District of Perrysburg. The sculpture exhibit ran from September 2008 – August 2009.
Kleeberger Statue - PAAC partnered with the Perrysburg schools in the installation of the Ralph Kleeberger bronze in front of the Commodore building.
Youth and Family
Youth Summer Theater - Offering both a musical and a non-musical educational theater experience for youth ages 10-18. Sponsored by the City of Perrysburg and Perrysburg Township.
Summer Art Camps at Way Library and The 577 Foundation.
Arts Enrichment Programs at Perrysburg Heights Community Center.
Youth Art Scholarships for Perrysburg City or Township residents ages 12-18, and to talented minority and low-income students (through a grant from Owens-Illinois).
Children's Craft Activities at First Fridays, Levis Commons Art Fair, Home for the Holidays and other community events.
